The rescue we got Max from Sk9 Scottish Terrier Rescue brought Caesar Milan to Columbus, OH. We were able to get pictures of Caesar with the Scotties.

Here is Zaron, the founder of the rescue, with Caesar and her Scotties.

Gahanna Westie Walk 2005

This is the first year we were able to go to the Gahanna Westie Walk. Max couldn't wait to get out of the car.

The walk was the same day as the OSU/Michigan State game. We found some of the enemy.

At check-in, the dogs were given collars. Max got a green checked one because he is a rescue. He kept being called the black sheep because he wasn't a westie.

We met some very cute puppies.

Max posed with me before the walk.

And then the walk started. We went through part of downtown Gahanna to Creekside Park. Max kept up the whole time!

Max was really thirsty when we got back to the car.

And he decided that he had walked enough.

Westerville Dog Park

Today we went to the dog park in Westerville for the first time. He didn't know where he was, but Max was so excited he could barely wait to get out of the car.

We sniffed at the bottom of the hill.

We sniffed all the way up the hill.

We sniffed the sign at the top of the hill.

We sniffed in between the gates.

And we finally made it inside to sniff the fence.

Max made some new friends, but he didn't really get the idea that he could play. He kept sniffing the outside of the fence and would greet anyone new that showed up.

New Straitsville Celtic Festival

Yesterday was a lot of fun. We went to the Celtic Festival in New Straitsville. Here are some pictures of Max:

We walked up to Robinson's Cave. It was the meeting site for the miners when they were organizing a union. I didn't know if he would go across the bridge by himself, but he was just fine:

He had fun going back down the stairs too:

Max's First Gotcha Day!

August 26th was Max's first gotcha day. He's been with us for a whole year. We went to the Dog Days festival in Westerville to celebrate. He was so excited, he couldn't wait to get out of the car:

He made some new friends....

Including a little girlfriend, Sadie.

He really enjoyed the peanut butter and milkbone snow cone that an animal hospital was giving out.

Someone dumped a milkbone into the water dish. No one else was going near it until Max got his milkbone:

We watched the parade from the comfort of a bench.

He made some new friends...

And didn't want to be in the pool...

Max loves to ride in the car...

...he just gets tired sometimes. We went to the Dayton Celtic Festval over the weekend and it tired him out.
