Do you want something?

You should know better than to bother a boy and his bone.

The Spotless Dog

So is Max spotless? We had a mobile groomer called The Spotless Dog come and groom Max today.

Here is a before picture

And here is an after picture

They did a great job and cost less than our usual place. We'll definitely have them back the next time we need to have Max groomed.

A date with Barney?!

I just found a website called My Date with Barney.

Kenzie, you are a really cute girl and I want you to know that if it doesn't work out with Barney, I'm in Columbus, Ohio, on the way to D.C. and I'll go on a date with you!

We could take a long walk in the snow

And share a peanut butter ice cream cone

What do you think?

A new extended family member

Here is a picture of the newest member of our family. Luckily she doesn't live with us! Her name is Ginger and she is a Cairn terrier.

She won't leave me alone! I'm not really sure how to feel about her.

They did it! They finally made me dress up for Halloween. Here I am as Sirius Black with Nymphadora Tonks.

Are you done yet?

Someone pointed out this fabric to my owner at JoAnn's. I'm glad she bought it, but did she have to take so many pictures of me?!

Maybe if I don't look at the camera...

Maybe if I REALLY don't look at the camera...

I'll try the other direction...

I've had enough of this!

She isn't done yet?!

Maybe if I act like I am one of the Scotties on the fabric...

Ok. I give up!

(It's easier to catch him when he's not paying attention!)

What is this thing?!

Look what appeared in my yard today. I am excessively put out. I even barked at it and it wouldn't go away. It even stole the best part of the yard to bark from!!!!!!!

A new talent

I love my squirrel toy. You put food in it and push it around:

I'm getting pretty talented with it.

Party!

We had a Memorial Day party and I was a bad dog. I took a WHOLE hamburger out of a human's hands and ate it in one bite. Then I burped at everyone. I was dressed nice though.

Before and After

Why are you taking my picture and saying this is what I look like before? Before what?

Oh! You took me to get a haircut! This is what I think about it:

It has been pretty quiet all winter. Mostly I have been spending time with my people and stealing their seats.

Caesar Milan in Columbus, Ohio

The rescue we got Max from Sk9 Scottish Terrier Rescue brought Caesar Milan to Columbus, OH. We were able to get pictures of Caesar with the Scotties.

Here is Zaron, the founder of the rescue, with Caesar and her Scotties.

Gahanna Westie Walk 2005

This is the first year we were able to go to the Gahanna Westie Walk. Max couldn't wait to get out of the car.

The walk was the same day as the OSU/Michigan State game. We found some of the enemy.

At check-in, the dogs were given collars. Max got a green checked one because he is a rescue. He kept being called the black sheep because he wasn't a westie.

We met some very cute puppies.

Max posed with me before the walk.

And then the walk started. We went through part of downtown Gahanna to Creekside Park. Max kept up the whole time!

Max was really thirsty when we got back to the car.

And he decided that he had walked enough.
